Does my health insurance pay for the treatment?
Unfortunately not. There still seems to be a lack of insight, but you should keep in mind that you are the only one to be responsible for this dependence. Do speak with your health insurance.

Why is it so difficult to stop smoking?
Nicotine is a highly potent addictive substance which makes addictive physically as well as mentally psychologically. Depending on the mood smoking a cigarette has rather a stimulating or a more relaxing effect.

However, the more cigarettes are smoked the less occurs the desired effect. It swings to the other extreme. Hence to do without smoking you must be conscious of the interrelation and to look for alternatives. Due to this reason a lot of trials are doomed to failure from the beginning.

How do your treatment result look like?
Good. They are a point in our favour.
6 months after our withdrawal treatment 3 of 4 patients are provably „clean” (74%).

Do I have to wait for a long time for an appointment?
No. We try hard immediately to meet all wishes for an appointment.
Corresponding to our previous experiences we recommend a free weekend and suggest a Friday afternoon as a date for the treatment.

Is this treatment dangerous?
Absolutely not.
In view of the exclusion criterions and your intention there are good chances to succeed. This is confirmed in our 5 years experience with more than 600 patients. In the contrary. Smoking is the actual danger.

The injections do not cause any trouble either.

How long does the curing sleep last?
Individually seen this is very different. The sleeping phase starts in the coming half an hour and in general it last 12 to 18 hours. In case of waking up earlier we recommend an additional medicine.

Can my partner be with me?
Yes, since we organize the round of talks as individual therapy, a maximum of 2 companions are possible.

Is the treatment also possible without a sleeping syringe?
Better not. Our experience clearly shows that the sleeping phase is an important part of the treatment.
